Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager in Jakarta to drive sales of Fire Control Security solutions to new and existing customers. You will understand customer needs, develop tailored proposals, and present solutions to stakeholders to achieve targets.

You will work with the sales team to convert leads into opportunities, ensure customer satisfaction, and manage end-to-end bid processes including tenders and negotiation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience as Senior Sales in HVAC (chiller), pump, cooling tower, contractor, elevator.
• Experience in selling products to contractors, consultants, or company owners, and in handling projects.
• Knowledge of Building HVAC, Fire Protection, Controls would be preferred.
• Experience in Building industry would be preferred.
• Basic understanding of SAP operations will be advantageous.
• Ambition, good understanding in project, and good relationships with contractor, consultant, or company’s owner.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of Fire Control Security solutions to new and existing customers.
• Study product knowledge and company procedures, improve domain knowledge.
• Plan annual secured order strategy and achieve YOY growth targets in the region.
• Prepare tenders and proposals, lead negotiations for optimum profit and close orders.
• Responsible for payment collection and monthly reporting on revenue attainment.
• Develop relationships with customers to maintain long-term service relationships.
