Job summary

Johnson Controls International in Jakarta seeks a Proposal Specialist to lead pre-sales engineering for BMS and Security systems in Indonesia. You will drive on-time, cost-effective designs and proposals while supporting sales engagements and technical presentations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years’ experience in estimation, design, and costing for BMS and security systems with strong analytical and coordination skills and fluent English

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimation, design and costing for BMS and Security systems.
Strong analytical and coordination skills; proficient English communication.

Responsibilities

Lead the Building Management System (BMS) and Security System pre-sales engineering team for Indonesia.
Collaborate with sales to manage tenders, addenda, and clarifications; ensure on-time delivery of high-quality proposals.
Coordinate with the Global Center of Excellence (GCoE) India team for cost-effective BAS proposals and pre-bid activities.
Review scope of work, BOQ, risk logs, and costing sheets; propose cost optimizations and alternative solutions.
Support sales in customer meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
