Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring a Sales Engineer, HVAC in Jakarta to drive sales of Fire Control Security solutions to new and existing customers. You will work with the sales team to convert leads and ensure customer satisfaction while meeting sales targets.

As a technical sales professional, you will study product knowledge, plan annual order strategies, prepare tenders, and lead negotiations to close profitable orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience as Senior Sales in HVAC (chiller), pump, cooling tower, contractor, elevator.
• Experience selling to contractors, consultants, or company owners and handling projects.
• Knowledge of Building HVAC, Fire Protection, Controls preferred.
• Basic SAP knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Study product knowledge and company procedures to improve domain knowledge.
• Plan annual secured order strategy and achieve regional sales targets.
• Prepare tenders and proposals; lead negotiations and close orders.
• Responsible for payment collection and monthly reporting on revenue attainment.
• Develop relationships with customers to maintain long-term service relationships.
• Identify customer requirements and develop sales leads; monitor competitors' activities.
• Independently develop and follow up projects to provide customer solutions.
