Job summary

AYANA Komodo, part of AYANA Hospitality, seeks a Banquet Manager to organize and oversee all banquet events at the Labuan Bajo resort. You will supervise event operations, ensure superb F&B service, and coordinate with client needs.

Ideal candidate has at least 3 years in hospitality, a bachelor’s in hospitality, and strong English and Indonesian communication, with proven leadership and ability to train staff in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in hospitality
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field
• Fluent in English and Indonesian (verbal and written)
• Experience leading and training staff in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with spreadsheets and documents (MS Office, Google Suite)
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all banquet events while ensuring top service and guest satisfaction
• Ensure banquet operations run smoothly and monitor food & beverage quality during events
• Lead, train, and manage banquet staff to deliver excellent service per SOPs
• Oversee inventory and stock control for banquet equipment and supplies
• Foster a positive, energized work environment to boost morale and productivity
• Coordinate with other departments and clients to schedule flawless events, incl. weddings, corporate, private parties
• Build strong client relationships and incorporate feedback into future plans
