Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist in Jakarta to drive payroll, recruitment, and HR compliance within a logistics-focused group. You will implement HM activities, develop training, and ensure statutory reporting and regulatory adherence.

The role requires 5+ years of HR generalist experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in HRIS and Excel. Join a national team to support HR operations across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology/HR/Law preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist.
• Proven payroll, BPJS, PPh 21, recruitment and employee relations experience.
• Familiarity with employment law and HRIS/Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; HR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement Human Capital activities per procedures, targets and budgets.
• Provide periodic Human Capital reports to management.
• Manage employee recruitment processes as requested.
• Control absences, overtime and payroll related tasks.
• Calculate and distribute employee salaries weekly.
• Revise and manage employee contracts and agreements.
• Calculate monthly BPJS Ketenagakerjaan contributions.
• Prepare mandatory employment reports to local authorities.
• Issue disciplinary actions per Company Regulations.
• Design company regulations, payslips, and payroll system.
• Monitor building safety and report major issues to management.
• Take action on violations of Company Regulations.
• Produce monthly reports on employee status and skill development.
• Create, implement and evaluate training schedules.

Main Responsibilities

1. 1. Implement Human Capital activities in accordance with procedures, quality targets, and planned budgets.
2. 2. Provide periodic Human Capital reports.
3. 3. Implement employee and staff recruitment processes as requested.
4. 4. Control and input absences, overtime, and other payroll tasks.
5. 5. Calculate and distribute employee salaries weekly.
6. 6. Revise employee contract agreements.
7. 7. Calculate and record monthly BPJS Ketenagakerjaan contributions and membership.
8. 8. Mandatory Employment Reports to the local Manpower Office (Disnaker).
9. 9. Issue verbal and written reprimands to any employees who make errors or violate Company Regulations.
10. 10. Design Company Regulations, employee and staff pay slips, and a payroll system for payroll.
11. 11. Monitor and repair damaged buildings, report serious damage to building management.
12. 12. Take necessary action against employees who violate Company Regulations (Warning Letters, Suspensions, Termination).
13. 13. Monthly reports on employee status and skill development.
14. 14. Create training schedules, implement, and evaluate training results.

General Responsibilities

1. 1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
2. 2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
3. 3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
4. 4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Qualifications

1. 1. Bachelor's degree in any major, Psychology/HR/Law, preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist.
2. 2. Proven experience in payroll operations, BPJS, managing PPh 21, recruitment, and employee relations.
3. 3. Familiarity with the employment law.
4. 4. Proficiency in HRIS operations and Microsoft Excel.
5. 5. Strong leadership and communication skills.
6. 6. Having a HR certification is preferred.
