Job summary

Samudera Indonesia seeks a diligent accounting/finance professional to join our Jakarta operations. You will handle financial processes, reporting, and ensure fiscal compliance.

The role involves coordinating crew cost payments, monitoring cash flow, and contributing to risk management within an Integrated Management System. Fresh graduates are welcome and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, finance, and tax principles.
• Good analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Familiar with accounting and financial applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Ability to prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
• Cash and bank management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a payment schedule for crew costs and regular payments for GA.
• Monitor crew costs recorded in the system.
• Monitor the shipowner's cash flow (dedicated ship owner account).
• Monitor the advance for crew costs.
• Implement an Integrated Management System and manage related risks.
• Commit to IMS requirements and safety practices.
• Participate in accident investigations and report facts.
• Support information security controls to protect company assets.

Main Responsibilities

• Create a payment schedule for crew costs and regular payments for GA.

• Monitor the shipowner's cash flow (dedicated ship owner account).
• Monitor the advance for crew costs.

General Responsibilities

• Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
• Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
• Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
• Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Qualifications
