Job summary

Insurgent Club is seeking a results-driven commercial strategist to own and analyze sales performance across multiple channels in Bandung. You will break down targets by channel, product, customer, traffic, conversion, AOV and other commercial drivers to inform decisions.

Responsibilities include developing channel and product strategies, identifying performance gaps, leading weekly and monthly reviews, and enhancing the Sales operating system so channel owners can solve problems and execute

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in commercial, e-commerce, retail, marketplace, or related roles.
• Experience owning measurable business outcomes.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.

Job description

• Own and analyze sales performance across channels, breaking down targets and variances by channel, product, customer, traffic, conversion, AOV, and other commercial drivers.
• Develop channel and product strategies, including commercial priorities, promotions, CRM initiatives, and advertising direction.
• Identify performance gaps, customer objections, lost-sales opportunities, and inventory constraints, then turn them into evidence-based actions.
• Lead weekly sales performance reviews and monthly commercial reviews, turning insights into clear recommendations, priorities, and next actions.
• Improve the Sales operating system while developing the capability of SPVs and channel owners to solve problems and execute effectively.

What We're Looking For

• 4–6 years of experience in commercial, e-commerce, retail, marketplace, merchandising, or related roles, with experience owning measurable business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce and marketplace economics, sales analytics, commercial planning, merchandising, and promotion economics.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills and the ability to turn dashboards and data into meaningful commercial decisions.
• A structured problem solver who looks for the real driver behind a result rather than jumping straight to discounts, more ads, or surface-level solutions.
• A strong owner and communicator who can make recommendations, influence cross-functional teams, and develop people rather than simply taking execution back.
