Job summary

Sinar Baru Logistik is seeking a Sales Executive Freight Forwarding to build B2B relationships, win new customers, and drive revenue for our Semarang team. The role focuses on identifying prospects in logistics and freight forwarding, preparing quotations, and maintaining ongoing client communication.

You will collaborate with operations to ensure orders are fulfilled, manage TOP-based collections, and report sales progress weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or any major.
• At least 2 years of experience in Sales within the freight forwarding industry.
• Having joined the basic forwarding course will be preferred.
• Proficient in English (both oral and written).
• Sales oriented.
• Willing to work under pressure.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers in the logistics and freight forwarding industry to increase company revenue and profitability.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to generate repeat orders.
• Prepare and provide quotations based on customers’ requests and requirements.
• Record and update daily prospecting activities in system.
• Provide customers with regular updates regarding their orders.
• Identify opportunities to introduce additional services and generate new orders from existing customers.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Follow up and collect payments from customers according to the agreed Terms of Payment (TOP).
• Willing to be placed at the Sinar Baru Logistik branch Semarang
