PT Sinar Baru Logistik in Jakarta is seeking a Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding to develop new business opportunities, acquire customers, and maintain strong relationships in the freight forwarding and logistics sector. You will manage quotations, negotiate rates, close deals, and coordinate with operations to ensure smooth shipments and high customer satisfaction.

A bachelor’s degree and at least two years in freight forwarding sales are required, with strong communication and team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any major, preferably Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding sales, logistics sales, or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding services, preferably export, import, domestic/inter-island, ocean freight, and/or air freight.
• Experience in customer acquisition, quotation, negotiation, and achieving sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to conduct customer visits and business development activities.

Responsabilités

• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics.
• Maintain and build strong relationships with existing customers.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and follow up on customer inquiries.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure smooth shipment handling and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
• Maintain accurate customer and prospect data and sales activities.
• Conduct customer visits and business development activities when required.
