Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
• Proven sales experience in machinery or related technical sales.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to explain technical concepts.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and pursue new sales opportunities in the machinery sector.
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Provide expert technical advice on machinery specifications and applications.
• Prepare and present detailed sales proposals and quotations.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address complex client queries.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing while maintaining profitability targets.

Sales Executive for Food Processing Machine

About the role PT Newtech Machinery Indonesia is seeking a talented and driven Sales Executive for Food Processing Machine to join our dynamic sales team. This is a full-time position based in North Jakarta, Jakarta. As a Sales, you will bridge the gap between our technical expertise and our clients' needs, combining consultative selling with in-depth product knowledge. This role is strategically important to our business, as you will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the organisation. You will work closely with both our technical teams and customers to ensure successful product implementation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, develop and pursue new sales opportunities with potential clients in the machinery and equipment sector

Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, clearly communicating the features, benefits and specifications of our machinery solutions

Provide expert technical advice and consultation to clients regarding machinery specifications, capabilities and applications to meet their specific requirements

Prepare and present detailed sales proposals and quotations tailored to client needs

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for repeat business and upselling

Collaborate with internal technical and engineering teams to understand product capabilities and address complex client queries

Negotiate contracts and pricing whilst maintaining profitability targets

Track and report on sales pipeline, forecast revenue and maintain accurate customer records

Attend industry events, trade shows and networking meetings to generate leads and raise company profile

Support the after-sales process, ensuring smooth handover to technical teams and customer satisfaction

What we are looking for:

A diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field

Proven sales experience in machinery, equipment, industrial products or a related technical sales environment

Strong technical knowledge and understanding of machinery, equipment specifications and industrial applications

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships and close sales

Strong negotiation and problem solving skills

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (both written and spoken)

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

A proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong self-motivation and resilience

Having own vehicle and driving license.

Willing to be placed at Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta.
