Job summary

Mazari Group, based in Bali, seeks a Purchasing Supervisor to oversee procurement for boutique villas and hospitality projects. You will manage supplier relations, negotiate terms, and ensure timely, cost-efficient purchases across Mazari's properties.

Requirements include 4–6 years in purchasing with 1–2 years in supervision, and hospitality or hotel operations experience is preferred. Strong Excel and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong experience in hospitality, villas, or hotel operations is required; exposure to construction or property development is an advantage.
• Solid knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, price negotiation, and purchasing controls.
• Good understanding of inventory management, stock replenishment, and logistics coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor relationship management skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and analytical, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily purchasing activities, including reviewing purchase requests and processing orders for operations and projects.
• Review supplier quotations, pricing, specifications, and proposals for best cost-value balance.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, sourcing and evaluating new vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to improve cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with departments, warehouse, and receiving teams to ensure accurate deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment planning.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with SOPs, approvals, and budgets.
• Conduct market price surveys and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain purchasing records and prepare regular supplier evaluations for management.
• Supervise and support Purchasing Staff through guidance and performance monitoring.

Mazari Group is a design-led luxury property developer and hospitality operator based in Bali. We develop, design, build and operate boutique villas and hospitality projects, with a growing portfolio of properties and new developments.

We are looking for a Purchasing Supervisor to oversee procurement operations across Mazari's hospitality business, ensuring that our operational teams and projects receive the right goods and services at the right time, quality, and cost.

This role goes beyond processing purchase orders. You will play an important part in maintaining supplier relationships, controlling procurement costs, improving purchasing efficiency, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our hospitality properties.

The Role

You will:

• Supervise daily purchasing activities, including reviewing purchase requests, processing orders, and ensuring timely procurement for operational departments and projects
• Review supplier quotations, pricing, specifications, and proposals to achieve the best balance of cost, quality, and value
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers, while sourcing and evaluating new vendors
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to improve cost efficiency and purchasing outcomes
• Coordinate with operational departments, warehouse/store, and receiving teams to ensure accurate deliveries and proper stock handling
• Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment planning to maintain operational readiness
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company SOPs, approval procedures, and approved budgets
• Conduct quarterly market price surveys and identify opportunities for cost savings and procurement improvements
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation, and prepare regular purchasing reports and supplier evaluations for management
• Supervise and support Purchasing Staff through task allocation, operational guidance, and performance monitoring

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 4-6 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong experience in hospitality, villas, or hotel operations is required; exposure to construction or property development is an advantage
