Job summary

Mazari Group in Bali seeks a Lead Architect to shape the architectural direction of its next-generation projects. You will lead concepts from site analysis through construction and operation, working with multiple teams to ensure a cohesive design identity and exceptional guest experiences.

You will mentor junior architects, review consultant drawings, and present recommendations to management, influencing development strategy and feasibility decisions on a developer-side team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture.
• 7+ years of post-graduate architectural experience.
• Strong portfolio of luxury residential, villas or hospitality projects.
• Excellent design sensibility and spatial thinking.
• Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials and buildability.
• Ability to balance design ambition with practicality, operational needs and commercial considerations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; Revit/BIM is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, coordination and presentation skills.
• Fluent English; Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
• STRA / IAI registration preferred but not essential.

Job description

Mazari Group is a design-led luxury property developer and hospitality operator based in Bali. We develop, design, build and operate boutique villa and hospitality projects, with a growing pipeline of new developments.

We are looking for a Lead Architect to help shape the architectural direction of Mazari's next generation of projects.

This is not a conventional architecture-firm role. You will work from the developer side, with meaningful influence over projects from early site analysis and concept design through construction and ultimately operation.

The Role

• Lead architectural concepts, site planning, massing and spatial design for new developments
• Shape the guest journey, including arrival experience, privacy, indoor-outdoor living and overall spatial flow
• Help define and evolve Mazari's architectural identity across multiple projects
• Work closely with interior, landscape, construction, development and operations teams
• Contribute to feasibility, unit mix, product positioning and early development decisions
• Review architectural and consultant drawings and resolve design and technical issues during construction
• Conduct site reviews to ensure design intent, material quality and detailing are delivered
• Mentor and coordinate junior architects and external consultants
• Present concepts and design recommendations directly to management

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Architecture
• 7+ years of post-graduate architectural experience
• Strong portfolio of completed projects; luxury residential, villas or hospitality experience strongly preferred
• Excellent design sensibility and spatial thinking
• Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials and buildability
