Job summary

Responsibilities

Production Supervisor - Dairy Processing

Responsible for providing production and technical support for the DairyProduction Line, ensuring safe, stable, efficient, and reliable production operations. The position focuses on monitoring production processes, optimizing equipment performance, troubleshooting technical issues, analyzing production data, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

1 . DairyProduction Line Operations

Monitor daily production activities on the DairyProduction Line to ensure smooth, stable, and efficient operations.

Ensure production activities achieve planned output, production schedules, and established operational standards.

2 . Production Process & Parameter Control

Monitor critical production parameters and process conditions to ensure they remain within established specifications.

Ensure SOP's, work instructions, and process standards are properly implemented throughout the production process.

Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot pre-processing, filling & packaging machines used in the DairyProduction Line.

Provide technical support to ensure optimal machine performance during production, start-up, shutdown, and changeover.

Troubleshoot production and equipment-related issues and identify the root causes of technical problems.

Coordinate with Maintenance and Technicians to implement corrective actions and restore normal production operations.

4 . Equipment Performance & Reliability

Monitor equipment performance, efficiency, availability, and reliability within the DairyProduction Line.

Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend improvements to reduce breakdowns and unplanned downtime.

5 . Calibration & Technical Inspection

Support equipment calibration, technical inspections, and verification of critical production instruments and parameters.

Ensure measuring instruments and production equipment remain within required operating specifications.

6 . Production Data & Performance Analysis

Analyze production output, downtime, equipment performance, yield, waste, and process losses to identify performance gaps.

Develop data-based recommendations to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize line performance.

Lead or support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement projects within the production area.

Implement and monitor improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, cost reduction, waste reduction, and process stability.

8 . Quality, GMP & Food Safety

Collaborate with QA to ensure the DairyProduction Line consistently meets quality, GMP, and food safety requirements.

Support investigation and resolution of production or process conditions that may affect product quality or food safety.

9 . K3 / HSE & Compliance

Identify potential operational and production risks and ensure engineering activities comply with K3/HSE requirements.

Ensure production processes and equipment comply with applicable GMP, food safety, quality, and company standards.

10 . Production Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate production records, equipment records, technical documentation, and performance data.

Prepare regular production and engineering reports covering output, downtime, technical issues, improvement activities, and line performance.

11 . Cross-Functional Coordination

Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, QA, R&D, and other related departments to resolve operational and technical issues.

Provide technical updates, recommendations, and progress reports to the Production Supervisor and Production Manager (Chinese Expatriates).

Support new equipment installation, commissioning, process modification, line optimization, and production improvement projects for the DairyProduction Line.
Coordinate with relevant departments, suppliers, and technical teams to ensure equipment and process changes are properly implemented and meet production requirements.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s or Diploma Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, Dairy Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Production, preferably with experience as a Production Supervisor or similar supervisory role in a Dairy and Ice Cream Processing company or FMCG industry.

Dairy & Ice Cream Processing Experience: Strong hands-on experience in dairy and/or ice cream processing operations, including production processes, process parameter control, filling & packaging operations, sanitation, and production line management.

Production & Equipment Management: Strong understanding of automated production and packaging equipment, production planning, line efficiency, troubleshooting, equipment performance monitoring, and coordination with Maintenance/Engineering teams to minimize downtime.

People & Shift Management: Proven ability to lead, supervise, and develop production operators and technicians, manage daily work allocation, monitor employee performance, and ensure effective daily rotating shift operations.

Continuous Improvement & Reporting: Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, OEE, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA), with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to improve productivity, efficiency, yield, waste reduction, and process stability. Proficient in English and capable of preparing production reports and coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Food Safety, Quality & K3/HSE: Strong understanding of Food Safety, GMP, HACCP principles, K3 (Occupational Health & Safety), HSE requirements, and applicable safety procedures. Able to identify operational hazards, ensure safe working practices, and maintain production processes and equipment in compliance with food safety, quality, and K3/HSE standards.

Communication & Working Conditions: Good communication, analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills; proficient in English and willing to work in daily rotating shifts according to operational requirements. Candidates must also be willing to undergo a Medical Check-Up (MCU) as part of the recruitment process.
