Job summary

Xtremax is seeking an experienced Presales Solution Architect in Jakarta to help clients resolve business and technical challenges with cloud-based solutions. You will collaborate with Sales, understand customer needs, design end-to-end architectures, and deliver compelling technical proposals and presentations to both technical and business stakeholders.

The role requires strong cloud and solution-architecture knowledge, excellent communication, and a consultative mindset to translate

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, Solution Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Presales, Consulting, or related field.
Experience designing cloud-based and end-to-end technology solutions, preferably with AWS/Azure.
Good understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, Kubernetes, HA, DR, and cloud migration.
Knowledge of modern application architecture including microservices, APIs, containers, serverless, CI/CD, messaging, and databases.
Presales activities: discovery, solution proposals, RFPs/RFIs, workshops, and customer presentations.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, enterprise AI solutions is an advantage.
Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/CS Engineering or related field is preferred.
Relevant AWS, Azure or other cloud certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand objectives, challenges, current technology landscape, and priorities.
Conduct discovery sessions and technical workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
Identify functional and non-functional requirements, security considerations, and scalability needs.
Translate requirements into practical and achievable technology solutions.
Design end-to-end cloud and digital solutions covering infrastructure, apps, integration, security, data, and operations.
Develop cloud architectures using AWS, with Azure exposure as an advantage.
Define architecture principles, deployment models, and non-functional requirements.
Prepare presales deliverables and support RFPs, RFIs, tenders, and customer demonstrations.
Present and defend proposed solutions to customers and address questions or objections.
Act as a bridge between customers, Sales, Product, and Delivery teams.
