Job summary

Adiwana Bisma Ubud is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for the pre-opening phase of a new restaurant in Ubud, Bali. The role is contracted and focuses on building operational excellence from the ground up, aligning with ownership and culinary teams to realize the vision.

The successful candidate will oversee every facet of the dining operation during pre-opening and thereafter, driving guest satisfaction, team development and robust F&B standards in a boutique setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Experience leading pre-opening phases of restaurants or hospitality venues.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards, menu development and dining room operations.
• Proficiency with restaurant management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Sound budgeting, forecasting and cost management experience.
• Deep understanding of health, safety and hygiene regulations applicable to food service operations.
• Exceptional customer service orientation with a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and ideally Indonesian or another local language.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant operations during the pre-opening period and beyond.
• Lead recruitment, training and development of diverse teams.
• Collaborate with ownership and culinary teams to implement our service standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations in dining operations.
• Develop and refine guest service standards to deliver memorable experiences.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and cost controls for the new restaurant.
