Adiwana Bisma Ubud is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for the pre-opening phase of a new restaurant in Ubud, Bali. The role is contracted and focuses on building operational excellence from the ground up, aligning with ownership and culinary teams to realize the vision.

The successful candidate will oversee every facet of the dining operation during pre-opening and thereafter, driving guest satisfaction, team development and robust F&B standards in a boutique setting.

Formación

• Minimum 2+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Experience leading pre-opening phases of restaurants or hospitality venues.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards, menu development and dining room operations.
• Proficiency with restaurant management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Sound budgeting, forecasting and cost management experience.
• Deep understanding of health, safety and hygiene regulations applicable to food service operations.
• Exceptional customer service orientation with a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and ideally Indonesian or another local language.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team on a contract basis for the PRE-Opening phase of our new restaurant.

This is a pivotal role that will shape the foundation of our dining operation and establish the standards that will define our restaurant's success. Based in Ubud, Bali, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations during the critical pre-opening period and beyond, working closely with our ownership and culinary teams to bring our vision to life. This contract position offers the opportunity to build and lead a restaurant from the ground up, making a lasting impact on our establishment's operational excellence and guest satisfaction.

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in upscale or boutique dining establishments

Proven experience managing pre-opening phases of restaurants or hospitality venues

• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to recruit, train and motivate diverse teams
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards, menu development and dining room operations
• Proficiency with restaurant management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Sound financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting and cost management experience
• Deep understanding of health, safety and hygiene regulations applicable to food service operations
• Exceptional customer service orientation with a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and ideally Indonesian or another local language
• Flexibility, problem-solving abilities and capability to thrive in a dynamic pre-opening environment
• Experience in Balinese or Southeast Asian hospitality is advantageous
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays
