Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Makassar seeks a Product Specialist to promote and support the joint replacement portfolio, including hip, knee, and robotic-assisted solutions. You will provide clinical support, drive sales, and educate surgeons to accelerate clinical adoption.

You will work with surgeons, hospital administrators, distributors, and internal teams to achieve strong clinical and commercial outcomes, while complying with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2-5 years of medical device or healthcare sales experience (orthopedics preferred).
• English proficiency; OR experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in operating rooms and travel.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets and territory objectives.
• Develop territory plans and identify growth opportunities.
• Grow market share in assigned accounts.
• Account management: acquire new customers and maintain existing relationships.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts.
• Become a SME (Subject Matter Expert) of company's products to support the surgery and customer education.
• Collaborate with marketing and clinical teams to execute educational programs and promotional activities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, maintain CRM records, and submit timely business reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare industry regulations in all commercial activities.
