Job summary

Peoplyee is seeking a Sales Engineer to implement and direct sales activities for the Surabaya area within the Manufacturing (Machinery) division. You will organize, plan, and control sales efforts, maintain customer records, and support departmental goal planning aligned with company objectives.

The role requires 2–3 years in sales engineering or engineering, with strong negotiation skills, and experience with mechanical seals is mandatory. A Diploma in an engineering field is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma degree in an engineering field.
• 2-3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Engineer, with strong negotiation skills.
• Experience working for a mechanical seal company is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Implement sales and marketing plans throughout the Surabaya area.
• Organize, plan, direct, and control sales activities effectively.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
• Support the annual planning of departmental goals in alignment with company objectives.
• Establish sales targets and monitor their achievement.
• Maintain pricing information for standard products.
• Conduct joint customer visits with sales team members to strengthen business relationships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and relevant professional organizations.
• Prepare sales forecasts and management reports covering market conditions, industry trends, and sales performance.
• Perform other responsibilities assigned by management.
