Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia is seeking a senior R&D Formulation Manager – Personal Care to drive breakthrough cosmetic formulations in skincare, haircare, and body care. You will lead a local Indonesia team, craft original formulations, and ensure stability, regulatory compliance, and successful scale-up from pilot to mass production.

The role requires Mandarin proficiency, strong emulsion and surfactant expertise, and hands-on leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with Asia

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in chemistry or cosmetics with strong formulation background.
• 7–10 years of hands-on cosmetic formulation experience.
• Proven track record of creating new formulations from scratch.
• Leadership experience in an R&D team in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of Asian raw material suppliers and BPOM/NMPA standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead formulation R&D from concept to production-ready formulas.
• Identify new product opportunities via trends and ingredients.
• Design and oversee trials, stability testing, and validation.
• Scale-up formulations from lab to mass production.
• Collaborate with QA/QC, Production, Marketing and Procurement.
