Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia seeks an experienced R&D Formulation Manager – Personal Care in Tangerang, Indonesia. The role leads formulation research, innovation, and product development across skincare, haircare, and body care. You will manage local R&D while ensuring BPOM compliance and quality standards.

The candidate should have 7–10 years in cosmetic formulation, strong leadership, and Mandarin proficiency, with willingness to relocate if based in Mainland China.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Cosmetology, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7–10 years hands-on formulation experience in cosmetic/personal care manufacturing.
• Track record of developing new formulations from scratch and leading an R&D team.

Responsibilities

• Lead formulation research and product innovation from concept to production-ready formulas.
• Identify new opportunities through material trends and active ingredients.
• Oversee laboratory trials, stability testing, and technical validation.
• Scale-up from laboratory/pilot to mass production with consistent formulas.
• Develop skincare, haircare, and body care formulations and roadmap.
