Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia in Tangerang, Indonesia, seeks an experienced R&D Formulation Manager – Personal Care to lead formulation research from concept through production-ready products. Strong emphasis on scratch formulations and genuine innovation over routine reformulations.

You will build and lead the local R&D formulation team, establish development processes, oversee trials and stability testing, and manage scale-up to mass production with focus on skincare, haircare, and body care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, cosmetic science or related field.
• 7–10 years hands-on formulation experience in cosmetics/personal care.
• Proven track record developing new formulations from scratch.
• Experience leading an R&D formulation team at managerial level.

Responsibilities

• Lead formulation research and product innovation from concept to production-ready formulas.
• Identify new material opportunities through raw materials and actives insights.
• Design and oversee laboratory trials, compatibility testing, and validation.
• Manage accelerated and real-time stability testing and quality standards.
• Lead scale-up from lab/pilot to mass production ensuring feasibility.
