About the role

We are seeking a Management Trainee to join GreenEarth Ventures Indonesia in Pontianak, West Kalimantan on a full-time basis. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity designed to develop future leaders within our organisation. As a Management Trainee, you will gain comprehensive exposure to various aspects of business operations, management practices, and strategic initiatives. This role offers a structured pathway to progress into supervisory and management positions, with mentorship from experienced leaders. You will work across different departments to develop a well-rounded understanding of our business, whilst contributing meaningfully to our operational success.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of business unit strategies and operational plans
• Assist in monitoring key performance indicators and metrics across assigned departments
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to gain exposure to different business areas
• Support supervisory staff in day-to-day operations and team coordination activities
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency programmes
• Prepare reports, analyses, and presentations on operational performance and business insights
• Provide administrative support to management and assist in coordination of meetings and events
• Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and business opportunities relevant to our operations
• Support the implementation of company policies and procedures across teams
• Participate in training programmes and mentoring sessions to develop management competencies

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Environmental Science or a related discipline
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian, with the ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and independently when required
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Leadership potential and willingness to take on responsibilities
• Adaptability and openness to learning new concepts and business practices
• Knowledge of or interest in sustainability and environmental management is advantageous
• Previous internship or work experience in a business or management environment is preferred
