We are looking for a hands-on IT Support professional to ensure the smooth operation of technology across our retail stores. This role will provide technical support for store systems, devices, networks, and applications, while supporting new store openings, technology rollouts, and preventive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot POS, computers, printers, scanners, handheld devices, CCTV, UPS, attendance systems, and other store technology.
- Provide remote and on-site IT support for hardware, software, applications, operating systems, and connectivity issues.
- Manage IT incidents and service requests through the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when required.
- Troubleshoot store LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DHCP, TCP/IP, and internet connectivity.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, system health checks, patching, updates, and equipment testing.
- Support new store openings, relocations, renovations, closures, and technology rollouts, including installation, testing, cutover, and handover.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams, Store Operations, ISPs, and external vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate IT asset records, device assignments, warranties, and equipment movements.
- Provide support during weekends, public holidays, or on-call periods when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in IT Support, IT Infrastructure, Helpdesk, or Field Support.
- Experience in retail, POS systems, or multi-site environments is preferred.
- Good knowledge of hardware, Windows OS, POS, networking, Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic TCP/IP troubleshooting.
- Familiar with IT ticketing systems and vendor coordination.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Service-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to travel to stores and work outside regular office hours when required.
