Job summary

Valmet in Cikarang, Indonesia seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end project execution, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage customer relationships in an industrial setting.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in project management, strong scheduling and documentation skills, and the ability to drive improvements in delivery and profitability. This is a full-time on-site position based in Cikarang.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, workshop operations, engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, or industrial service.
• Experience managing customer projects in an industrial environment.
• Experience preparing project schedules, execution plans, and customer project documentation.
• Experience supporting Sales and interacting directly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage project execution from order release through completion and closure.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, execution follow-up, and reporting in accordance with the Global Project Delivery Model and established business processes.
• Communicate project status, priorities, risks, and targets to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure project scope, costs, schedules, and delivery commitments are accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate project activities among Customer Service, Workshop Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and other stakeholders.
• Identify risks, delays, and deviations and coordinate corrective actions.
• Review completed projects, summarize performance, and communicate key deviations.
• Act as the primary customer contact during project execution and build strong customer relationships.
• Support on-time delivery performance for customers and facilitate customer visits and project review meetings.
• Monitor project costs and profitability; prepare cost estimates for additional work; review deviations.
• Maintain project documentation and records in applicable systems; prepare project reports and lessons learned.
