Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project management within a manufacturing environment.

• Hands-on familiarity with high-mix, low-volume or high-volume electronics production.
• Electronics manufacturing processes (SMT, DIP, testing, box-build).
• Supply chain & material planning fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor project performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and optimize efficiency.
• Facilitate regular project meetings with stakeholders, providing updates on progress and challenges.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish metrics for project performance and report status to stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues through escalation processes.

As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least twenty years' experience in project management in a multinational company for the job of Industrial Project Leader. The job is based in Batam, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

• Direct report to the Director
• Lead cross-functional project teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of manufacturing projects, ensuring alignment with overall strategic goals of project deliverable.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, proactively managing resources following stage gate of project (open, select, do , implement, produce, sell and close) and timelines to mitigate risks and ensure successful project outcomes.
• Coordinate with all the stakeholder (delivery and receiving plant, LOB and global deployment) to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables, ensuring clarity and accountability among all stakeholders.
• Implement and monitor project performance metrics, leveraging data to drive continuous improvement and optimize project efficiency.
• Facilitate regular project meetings with stakeholders, providing updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle, fostering a culture of quality, safety and competitiveness of project.
• Establish metrics for project performance, tracking progress and providing regular updates to stakeholders on status, challenges, and outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, by proactively addressing the escalation process to higher level to unlock the issues

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
• Strong background in procurement.
• 10+ years of experience in project management within a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a data driven approach to decision making.
• A proactive and results oriented mindset.
• Hands-on familiarity with high-mix, low-volume or high-volume electronics production.
