Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Purchaser in Cikarang, Indonesia, to develop and manage daily materials and services activities, ensuring high-quality materials and timely delivery for production and customers. The role emphasizes process improvements, supplier management, and a proactive, self-starting mindset.

The ideal candidate has a technical background, strong presentation and analytical skills, and English fluency. Experience with procurement procedures, audits, and ERP systems is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any Business Administration or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Purchasing and supply chain.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge in MS Office/ERP System.
• Be service minded and mature, with pleasant personality and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review inquiry information from requester to identify sourcing potential suppliers.
• Proceed RFQ to suppliers for competitive price, lead time, and terms.
• Conduct supplier audits, evaluations and registration in the system.
• Carry out procurement per procedures and follow up POs for cost, delivery time and quality.
• Develop local sourcing with regional product teams for strategic suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, trainings and corrective actions.
• Perform supplier quality inspections and verify inspection reports.
