Job summary

Mgmi - Mganik Grup Mitra Indonesia in Tangerang is seeking an Import & Customs Operations Staff to support logistics and import activities. The role requires hands-on freight forwarding experience and solid knowledge of Indonesian import-export regulations.

You will coordinate with PPJK, warehouses, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure smooth customs clearance, timely delivery, and compliant documentation. Proficiency in English and strong administrative skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, import-export, or customs.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian import-export regulations and customs procedures.
• Experience reviewing PIB and other customs documents.
• English proficiency in writing and speaking.
• Strong administrative and coordination skills.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new processes.
• Preferably based in Jakarta with <=1 hour commute.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify import documentation, including PIB and supporting customs documents.
• Coordinate with PPJK, freight forwarders, and customs-related parties to ensure efficient customs clearance processes.
• Monitor import/export shipments and ensure compliance with Indonesian customs regulations.
• Liaise with warehouses regarding goods receiving, inventory coordination, and deliveries to customers.
• Ensure all import and export documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Follow up on shipment status and proactively resolve operational issues related to logistics and customs clearance.
• Communicate with internal departments and external service providers to support supply chain activities.
• Maintain proper records and reports related to import, export, and customs operations.
