Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Import & Customs Operations Staff to support logistics and import activities. The role requires working closely with PPJK, warehouses, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure smooth customs clearance and timely delivery.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in freight forwarding, a solid grasp of Indonesian import‑export regulations, and excellent English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, import‑export or customs-related environment.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian import‑export regulations and customs procedures.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Review and verify import documentation (e.g., PIB) and supporting customs papers.
• Coordinate with PPJK, freight forwarders, warehouses, and customs authorities for efficient clearance.
• Monitor import/export shipments and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Liaise with warehouses on goods receiving, inventory, and deliveries to customers.
• Ensure all import/export documentation is complete and compliant.
• Follow up on shipment status and resolve issues related to logistics and customs clearance.
• Communicate with internal teams and external providers to support supply chain activities.
• Maintain records and reports related to import, export, and customs operations.
