Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Import & Customs Operations Staff to support our logistics and import operations in Indonesia. The ideal candidate has hands-on freight forwarding experience, strong knowledge of Indonesian import/export regulations, and can coordinate with PPJK, warehouses, and service providers to ensure smooth customs clearance and timely delivery.

The role requires documentation review, compliance monitoring, and proactive problem-solving with internal teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
Minimum 5 years in freight forwarding, logistics, import-export or customs.
Strong understanding of Indonesian import-export regulations and customs procedures.
Experience reviewing PIB and other customs documents.
Experience coordinating with PPJK, freight forwarders, warehouses and authorities.
Good command of English, written and spoken.
Based in Jakarta or nearby with <=1 hour commute.

Responsibilities

Review and verify import documentation including PIB and supporting customs docs.
Coordinate with PPJK, freight forwarders, warehouses and customs-related parties.
Monitor import/export shipments to ensure compliance with regulations.
Liaise with warehouses on goods receiving, inventory, and deliveries.
Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant.
Follow up shipment status and resolve operational issues.
Communicate with internal departments and external service providers.
Maintain records and reports related to import, export, and customs operations.
