Job summary

PT Samindo Resources Tbk is seeking an HR Manager based in South Jakarta to lead all HR and general administrative functions. The role requires 13+ years of HR experience with at least 3 years in a managerial position and strong knowledge of Indonesian labour regulations.

You will handle the full employee lifecycle, policy development, payroll oversight, and strategic HR support to the management team, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency in a growing maritime services group.

Qualifications

We are a Holding Company with a newly established subsidiary engaged in the Maritime Business, providing vessel rental and related services to corporate clients. As the HR Manager, you will play a key role in leading and managing the Company's human resources and general administrative functions. Reporting directly to the management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective HR practices that support business operations, organizational growth, and compliance with applicable employment regulations. This full-time position is based in South Jakarta, Jakarta.

What you'll be doing

Manage the full employee life cycle, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, employee relations, and offboarding.

Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and practices in line with the Company's business needs and applicable labour and employment regulations.

Support management in organizational development, manpower planning, job structure, compensation and benefits, and other people-related matters.

Oversee payroll, employee benefits, attendance, leave, employee records, and other HR administration activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Manage employee relations and provide advice to management and employees on HR policies, workplace matters, and employment-related issues.

Support the Company's maritime business by ensuring appropriate manpower readiness and HR administration for the Company's operational requirements, including coordination with relevant internal teams and external parties where required.

Manage general administrative functions, including office facilities, office supplies, company administration, and coordination of IT support.

Ensure proper maintenance and confidentiality of employee data, personnel files, HR reports, and other employment-related documentation.

Provide strategic HR advice and support to the management team and contribute to business and organizational planning.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proficient in both oral and written English.

Minimum 13 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role; experience in the maritime, shipping, vessel rental, logistics, or related industries is preferred.

Strong knowledge of HR best practices and applicable Indonesian labour and employment regulations.

Experience in developing and implementing HR policies, systems, and processes in a growing organization.

Strong understanding of payroll, compensation and benefits, employee relations, recruitment, and HR administration.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in HR management systems and Microsoft Office.

Able to work independently, take ownership, and provide practical HR solutions in a dynamic business environment.

High level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and commitment to providing effective HR support to the organization.
