This is a strategic, hands–on HR leadership role partnering directly with the site GM and reporting directly to the Group Head of HR and the Regional GM. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of HR operations, especially in manpower planning, talent acquisition and organization development.
Understand the site's operational and production plans and translate them into manpower requirements.
Participate in management meetings and operational planning.
Advise the GM on workforce productivity, employee relations, manpower availability and organizational matters.
Identify people-related risks that may affect operations and recommend practical solutions.
Balance business requirements, employee welfare and compliance considerations.
Develop and execute recruitment strategies for skilled workforce to support the business growth.
Manage recruitment and selection processes.
Manage employee onboarding.
Build employee capabilities and develop the internal talent pipeline.
Recommend and coordinate training programmes.
Develop employee capabilities to support future operational requirements.
Work with management to strengthen the internal talent pipeline to support succession planning.
Work closely with the GM and management team to embed the desired organization culture into daily operations, leadership practices and employee interactions.
Drive employee performance in line with operational and production objectives.
Implement the Group performance management framework.
Establish site‑level KPIs aligned with operational and production targets.
Coordinate regular performance reviews and monitor performance trends.
Provide performance recommendations to the leadership team.
Develop and maintain site‑level succession plans.
Lead manpower planning and ensure the site has sufficient manpower with the right workforce deployment and productivity.
Translate operational and production plans into manpower requirements.
Monitor daily workforce availability and manpower requirements.
Coordinate workforce deployment with supervisors.
Establish manpower productivity benchmarks and optimize workforce utilization.
Prepare manpower reports and forecasts for the GM and Group Head of HRBP & GA.
Ensure effective day‑to‑day HR administration and compliance with Group policies and Indonesian employment regulations.
Manage and monitor daily attendance and timekeeping.
Monitor overtime and working hours.
Maintain accurate employee records.
Maintain employment contracts and personnel documentation.
Ensure timely and accurate HR reporting to HQ.
Implement Group HR policies, systems and standards at farm level.
Ensure compliance with Group HR policies and Indonesian manpower regulations.
Maintain appropriate employment and personnel documentation.
Monitor HR indicators and identify trends.
Continuously improve local HR processes and workforce management practices.
Ensure accurate and timely payroll, overtime and statutory employee‑related payments.
Verify attendance and overtime records for payroll purposes.
Prepare and validate payroll inputs.
Coordinate with Finance on payroll matters.
Monitor overtime and working hours.
Ensure payroll‑related HR records are accurate and complete.
Maintain constructive labour relations and ensure appropriate handling of employee and government‑related matters.
Manage employee and labour relations.
Manage relationship with Manpower Office and other local authorities.
Coordinate statutory HR matters
Ensure site facilities and operational support services run effectively.
Coordinate facilities and infrastructure support.
Manage security arrangements.
Coordinate employee transportation and accommodation.
Manage vehicles and other operational support services.
Coordinate worker food/canteen and welfare facilities where applicable.
Monitor GA‑related costs and service quality.
Implement Group GA policies and standards at farm level.
Coordinate external vendors and service providers.
Recommend improvements to worker welfare and facilities.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or related discipline.
Minimum 5–7 years of HR experience, preferably in labour-intensive operations.
Experience in agriculture, plantation, manufacturing, food production, logistics, construction, mining, hospitality or similar industries preferred.
Good knowledge of Indonesian manpower regulations.
Strong Bahasa Indonesia and English communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills.
