Job summary

PT Petgo Bastian is seeking an HR professional to oversee recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee relations for its F&B operations in Jakarta. The role emphasizes policy implementation, training, and compliance with Indonesian labour regulations.

You will manage attendance, payroll, benefits, and HR documentation while supporting managers on performance and development initiatives in a dynamic hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of HR experience with supervisory exposure.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian labour laws and employment regulations.
• Proficient in HR systems and payroll management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in recruitment, screening, and interviewing techniques.
• Organized, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Understanding of F&B sector HR challenges is desirable.

Job description

Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees for food and beverage operations, ensuring a smooth integration process and compliance with company policies

Administer and monitor employee records, ensuring accurate documentation, confidentiality, and compliance with Indonesian labour regulations

Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives across F&B departments, ensuring consistency and fairness in application

Handle employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management discussions in a professional and impartial manner

Coordinate training and development programmes tailored to the need of F&B staff, fostering career growth and skill enhancement

Manage payroll processing, benefits administration, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies

Monitor employee attendance and leave records, addressing any irregularities or concerns promptly

Conduct exit interviews and manage separation procedures, maintaining positive relationships with departing employees

Provide support to managers and supervisors on HR-related matters, offering guidance on recruitment, performance management, and employee development

Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR documentation, policies, and procedures specific to F&B operations

Assist in organising employee engagement activities and wellness programmes to foster a positive workplace culture

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or similar role preferably within the food and beverage or hospitality industry
• In-depth knowledge of Indonesian labour laws, employment regulations, and compliance requirements
• Strong proficiency in HR systems and software, including payroll management and employee database management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
• Proven capability in recruitment and selection processes, including job analysis, candidate screening, and interview techniques
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to address HR issues diplomatically and fairly
• Knowledge of F&B industry practices and the ability to understand sector-specific HR challenges is highly desirable
