Job summary

PT Fohoway International Indonesia seeks an experienced HR Manager in Jakarta Pusat to lead all HR operations, including talent acquisition, development, compliance, and culture. This full-time role partners with senior management to align people practices with business objectives and drive continuous improvement across HR functions.

You will design HR strategy, oversee recruitment lifecycle, payroll, and employee relations, and implement training programs while ensuring Indonesian labour law

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian labour law and compliance.
• Experience in talent acquisition, employee development, and payroll.
• Fluent in Indonesian and English.
• HR certification is advantageous.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to join our team in Jakarta Pusat. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our organisation's human resources function. As HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete spectrum of HR operations, from talent acquisition and employee development to compliance and workplace culture. You will play a pivotal role in shaping HR strategy and ensuring that our people practices align with business objectives. This role requires a collaborative leader who can bridge the gap between senior management and employees whilst driving continuous improvement across all HR functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and policies that support business growth and organisational objectives
• Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including job design, candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding of new employees
• Manage employee relations, including performance management, conduct investigations, and implementing disciplinary procedures in accordance with local employment law
• Design and deliver training and development programmes to build capability and support career progression across the organisation
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian labour laws, employment regulations, and internal HR policies
• Administer payroll, benefits, and compensation programmes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Manage employee records and maintain confidential HR information systems
• Conduct HR analytics and reporting to track key metrics and provide insights to senior leadership
• Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes engagement, diversity, and inclusion
• Handle employee queries and concerns, providing guidance and support to both staff and managers
• Collaborate with external partners such as recruitment agencies, training providers, and legal consultants as required

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR management roles, ideally gained in a consulting or multi-sector environment
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian employment law, labour regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proven expertise in talent acquisition, recruitment, and employer branding
• Experience in employee relations, performance management, and organisational development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency in HR management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in both Indonesian and English (written and verbal)
• Professional HR certification (such as SHRM-CP, CIPD, or equivalent) is advantageous
