Job summary

PT Uniair Indotama Cargo in Jakarta is seeking a results-driven sales professional to grow our freight forwarding business. You will identify opportunities, nurture relationships, and promote ocean freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and logistics solutions.

Responsibilities include preparing proposals, negotiating terms, coordinating with operations, and hitting monthly and annual targets while maintaining accurate records. English and Mandarin proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or supply chain services.
• Strong knowledge of international freight, Incoterms, customs procedures, and import/export documentation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build relationships and close sales effectively.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and client visits.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Promote the company's freight forwarding services: ocean freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and logistics solutions.
• Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and service agreements to customers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service contracts while ensuring profitability.
• Coordinate with Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth shipment handling and customer satisfaction.
• Follow up on quotations, inquiries, and sales leads to maximize conversion.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as assigned by management.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities using the company's system.
