Job summary

Pt Uniair Indotama Cargo in Bekasi is seeking an experienced International Freight Forwarder to manage global shipping operations from the Bekasi office. You will coordinate cross-border movement, handle customs clearance, and ensure compliance with trade regulations while working with carriers, brokers, and clients.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in international logistics, thorough knowledge of Incoterms, and proficiency with freight software.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in international freight forwarding or global logistics.
In-depth knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and customs regulations.
Proficiency in using freight forwarding software and documentation systems.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple shipments and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working with clients and suppliers across different regions.

Responsibilities

Arrange and manage international shipments via air, sea, and land transportation.
Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure smooth and timely clearance of imported and exported goods.
Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs declarations.
Communicate effectively with overseas partners, carriers, and clients regarding shipment status and any potential issues.
Negotiate freight rates with carriers to secure competitive pricing.
Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any challenges that may arise during transit.
