PT. Rieckermann Indonesia is seeking a Forklift Service Engineer to provide timely technical service for BYD material handling equipment.

The role covers installations, maintenance, repairs, and on-site support with a strong emphasis on customer relationship management. Ideal candidates have a technical degree, 8+ years of relevant experience, fluent English, and the willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Provide installation, maintenance and repair of BYD Material Handling Equipment.
Installation and commissioning of BYD Equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service on-site.
Troubleshoot via phone, email or in person and manage service requests.
Conduct technical project management for NEW, RENTAL and SECONDHAND BYD projects.
Ensure timely and quality site and service reports, job-cards and resource estimates.
Update CRM system regularly and recommend spare parts to customers.

Job description

The Forklift Service Engineer is responsible to provide timely and proper technical service support to Rieckermann Philippines customers. This includes installations, reinstallations, preventive maintenance and customer relationship management.

Key responsibilities

Provide installation, maintenance and repair of BYD MATERIAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT

Installation and commissioning of BYD Material Handling Equipment

Perform preventive maintenance

Perform emergency service at the customer's site, if needed

Troubleshoot via phone, email or in person

Manage and overview all requests for service

Conduct technical project management for NEW, RENTAL and SECONDHAND BYD projects in cooperation with the local Order Processing Team

Ensure timeliness and quality of site and service reports, job-cards as well as resource estimates

Update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system regularly

Recommend spare parts to customers

About you

Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience

University degree in a technical subject, or equivalent

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Goal-oriented, dynamic, and high sense of responsibility

Able to work well under pressure

Able to work self-reliantly

Team and disciplined working spirits

Very good written and verbal English skills

Readiness to travel frequently domestically and occasionally international and on short notice
