Job summary

Maison Bali, a fast-growing architecture, interior design and villa development studio in Bali, seeks a FF&E Procurement Specialist to convert designer lists into quotations, PO,s and production plans for luxury villas and hotels. You will source and manage furniture makers, lighting suppliers and decor vendors across Bali and Java, negotiating terms and ensuring on-time delivery.

You will read technical drawings, visit factories for QC at key stages, and build a supplier network for future

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in FF&E procurement with an interior design studio, hospitality group, furniture manufacturer or fit-out company working on villas, hotels, resorts or restaurants.
• Experience with custom furniture, not only catalog purchases.
• Able to read technical drawings and shop drawings, and to spot mistakes before production.
• Strong network of furniture makers and craftsmen in Java and Bali.
• Knowledge of materials: teak and other woods, rattan, stone, metal, fabrics, finishes.
• Strong negotiation skills and a sharp eye for quality and design details.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
• Good English (written and spoken).
• Willing to travel regularly to factories in Java.

• Plan and follow delivery, shipping (local and export) and installation on site.
• Track every item in a clear procurement schedule: status, budget, supplier, dates.
• Build and grow our supplier database for future projects.

FF&E Procurement Specialist (Luxury Villas & Hotels)

Maison Bali is a fast-growing architecture, interior design and villa development studio based in Canggu. In less than a year, we have built a community of over 500,000 followers and work on villas, restaurants and hotels in Bali, Lombok, Africa and beyond.

More and more of our clients ask us to deliver the full interior, not only the design. We need a specialist who can turn our FF&E lists and drawings into beautiful, well-made furniture, delivered on time and on budget.

What you will do

Turn our designers’ FF&E lists and detail drawings into quotations, purchase orders and production plans

Source and manage furniture makers, lighting suppliers, stone, textile and decor vendors in Bali and Java (Jepara, Kudus, Surabaya and beyond)

Request and compare quotations, negotiate prices, lead times and payment terms

Check shop drawings and samples with our designers before production starts

Visit factories for quality control at key stages: raw materials, mid-production and before shipping

Plan and follow delivery, shipping (local and export) and installation on site

Track every item in a clear procurement schedule: status, budget, supplier, dates

Build and grow our supplier database for future projects

What we are looking for

At least 3 years of FF&E procurement experience with an interior design studio, a hospitality group, a furniture manufacturer or a fit-out company working on villas, hotels, resorts or restaurants. This is a must.

Proven experience with custom furniture, not only catalog or operational purchasing (food, beverage or consumables)

Able to read technical drawings and shop drawings, and to spot mistakes before production

Strong network of furniture makers and craftsmen in Java and Bali

Good knowledge of materials: teak and other woods, rattan, stone, metal, fabrics, finishes

Strong negotiation skills and a sharp eye for quality and design details

Advanced Excel or Google Sheets

Good English (written and spoken)

Willing to travel regularly to factories in Java

Nice to have

Export shipping experience (packing, documents, containers)

Experience with luxury or boutique hotel openings

Knowledge of OS&E (operating supplies and equipment) for hotels
