Job summary

Maison Bali, Bali-based architecture and interior design studio, seeks a Procurement & FF&E Specialist to manage furnishing and equipment for villas, hotels and restaurants. You will source materials, negotiate terms, and convert drawings into detailed FF&E schedules.

Based in Bali, 3+ years in procurement/FF&E, fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, with willingness to travel to Java and lead procurement as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in furniture production, procurement, FF&E or interior fit-out, ideally for villas, hotels or restaurants.
• Strong network of furniture workshops and suppliers in Java, and deep knowledge of materials.
• Able to read technical drawings and furniture specifications.
• Experience with costing, quotations and budget follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage workshops and suppliers in Java and Bali, including furniture makers and workshops.
• Turn drawings and lists into detailed quotations and FF&E schedules.
• Plan budgets for villas, hotels and restaurants and keep them on track.
• Coordinate production, delivery and installation on site with on-time handover.
• Organise export shipping and Indonesian internal logistics for international projects.
• Develop supplier database, price lists, and procurement processes to scale.

About Maison Bali
Maison Bali is an architecture and interior design studio based in Canggu. We are less than a year old and growing extremely fast, driven by social media: more than 500k followers across our accounts, and villa, restaurant and hotel projects all around the world. We also develop our own villas and have launched Maison Bali Furniture, our custom furniture brand.

Our ambition: to build the leading architecture and interior design studio in Bali, recognised worldwide.

The role
Our designers create the spaces. You make them real. You will manage everything our clients need to furnish and equip their projects: custom furniture made in Java, lighting, textiles, decor, sanitary ware, kitchen equipment and more. You'll handle it from the first quotation to the final installation, whether the project is in Bali or overseas.

What you will do

Build and manage our network of workshops and suppliers in Java (Jepara, Surabaya, Yogyakarta...) and Bali: furniture makers, woodworkers, rattan, stone, metal, upholstery, lighting, textiles, ceramics

Find new materials and craftsmen that match the Maison Bali style

Negotiate prices, lead times and payment terms

Costing & planning

Turn our designers' drawings and furniture lists into detailed quotations and FF&E schedules

Build budgets for villas, hotels and restaurants and keep them on track

Plan production and delivery so every project is furnished on time

Follow production in the workshops: prototypes, finishes, quality control before shipping

Work closely with our interior designers and drafters to make sure technical drawings are produced correctly

Solve problems fast when something goes wrong

Organise transport inside Indonesia and export shipping for international projects (packing, documents, freight forwarders)

Coordinate delivery and installation on site, with a final check before handover to the client

Structure

Build our supplier database, price list and procurement process so we can scale

Later, recruit and manage a small procurement team as the business grows

Who you are (must-have)

3+ years in furniture production, procurement, FF&E or interior fit-out, ideally for villas, hotels or restaurants

Strong network of furniture workshops and suppliers in Java, and deep knowledge of materials (teak, suar, rattan, stone, metal, upholstery...)

Able to read technical drawings and furniture specifications

Experience with costing, quotations and budget follow-up (Excel or Google Sheets)

Experience with export shipping, or strong willingness to learn it

Fluent Bahasa Indonesia and good professional English

Based in Bali and available to travel regularly to Java

Organised, precise and demanding on quality. You don't let a bad finish leave the workshop

Nice to have

Experience with hotel or restaurant FF&E projects

Knowledge of SketchUp or AutoCAD

Experience with international clients

French is a plus
