Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, seat them appropriately, and provide menus.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay promptly to kitchen/bar.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely, professional manner.
• Move between front and back of house, assisting with prep and delivery as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and answer guest questions with recommendations.
• Clear tables promptly and reset for subsequent guests.
• Ensure glasses, crockery and cutlery are clean and organized.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic work environment adhering to safety standards.
• Process payments accurately and handle cash or card transactions.
• Support the team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.

About the role

We are seeking a DW Casual Waiter / Runner to join the Morabito Art Villa team in Badung, Bali. This is a part-time position offering flexibility whilst maintaining the high standards of service excellence that our guests expect. As a Casual Waiter / Runner, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, delivering outstanding hospitality and ensuring every guest experiences a memorable dining experience at our venue.

Key responsibilities

Greeting guests with warmth and professionalism, seating them appropriately and providing menus

Taking accurate food and beverage orders from guests and communicating these promptly to the kitchen and bar staff

Delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely and professional manner, ensuring correct orders reach the correct guests

Running between front and back of house, assisting with food preparation and delivery as required

Maintaining knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and being able to answer guest queries and provide recommendations

Clearing tables promptly and efficiently, resetting them for subsequent guests

Ensuring all glasses, crockery and cutlery are clean and properly organised

Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment, adhering to health and safety standards at all times

Processing payments and handling cash or card transactions accurately

Supporting the wider team to ensure smooth service delivery during busy periods

What we’re looking for

Previous experience working as waiting staff or in a similar hospitality role, ideally in a restaurant or café environment

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests and colleagues

Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to commit to scheduled shifts consistently

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry items safely

Attention to detail and accuracy when taking orders and processing transactions

A positive, customer-focused attitude and genuine enthusiasm for delivering excellent service

Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

Fluency in English is preferred; additional language skills are advantageous
