About the role

Raya Collective is seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiters and Waitresses to join our dynamic team at Baro Bali in Badung, Bali. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional service in a vibrant hospitality environment. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable dining experiences for our guests whilst maintaining the highest standards of service excellence. This role is pivotal in ensuring guest satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of our restaurant operations.

Key responsibilities

Greeting guests warmly and seating them at designated tables in a timely and courteous manner

Presenting menus and providing knowledgeable recommendations regarding food and beverage offerings

Taking accurate food and drink orders from guests and communicating them clearly to kitchen and bar staff

Serving food and beverages promptly, ensuring plates are presented with care and attention to detail

Checking on guests throughout their dining experience to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns

Processing payments accurately and professionally at the conclusion of the meal

Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, tables and service stations

Following food safety and hygiene protocols consistently to maintain health and safety standards

Working collaboratively with kitchen, bar and housekeeping staff to ensure seamless service delivery

Assisting with special requests and handling guest complaints with professionalism and discretion

Contributing to a positive team atmosphere and supporting colleagues during busy service periods

What we're looking for

Previous experience working as a Waiter/Waitress or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests from diverse backgrounds

Strong attention to detail and the ability to remember guest preferences and orders accurately

Physical fitness and stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays and equipment safely

Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining composure under pressure

Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays

Genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive guest experiences

Teamwork mentality with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues

Basic proficiency in English; additional language skills (particularly Bahasa Indonesia or other languages) are advantageous

Food handling certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred
