Job summary

EVDEkimi Real Estates is seeking a reliable Cook to join our restaurant kitchen team in Bali. You will prepare and cook food to our recipes, maintain high quality and presentation, and support daily operations.

Key duties include maintaining hygiene, following recipes, and working closely with a fast-paced team to ensure timely service. Fresh entrants and trainees are welcome to apply, with flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous Cook or similar kitchen experience preferred.
• Basic cooking techniques and food preparation knowledge.

• Monitor ingredient usage and inform stock levels.
• Minimize waste and use ingredients efficiently.
• Collaborate with kitchen team for smooth service.
• Assist with receiving and checking kitchen supplies.

Job description

This is a Cook position in a restaurant kitchen, responsible for preparing and cooking food according to the restaurant's recipes and standards, maintaining food quality, and supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and cook food according to the restaurant's recipes and standards

Assist with daily food preparation and ensure all mise en place is ready before service

Maintain consistent food quality, taste, portion, and presentation

Follow instructions from the F&B Director & CDP during daily operations

Ensure ingredients are properly stored, labelled, and handled according to food safety standards

Keep the kitchen area, equipment, and workstations clean and organized

Monitor ingredient usage and inform the kitchen leader when stock is running low

Help minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently

Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service

Assist with receiving and checking kitchen supplies when required

About you

Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen position is preferred

Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation

Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety

Able to follow recipes, instructions, and portion standards

Able to work well in a team and in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Good attention to cleanliness and food quality

Responsible, disciplined, and willing to learn

Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
