Job summary

China Gezhouba Group Corporation is seeking a Civil Site Manager to oversee all civil construction activities at site, ensuring delivery in line with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements. The role requires 5+ years in civil construction, site management, and experience with power plants or large infrastructure projects.

Knowledge of Indonesian regulations and SKK/LPJK qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction projects.
• Experience in site management or supervisory roles for power plants or large infrastructure.
• Certification: SKK Construction (Civil) preferred; LPJK Konstruksi Level 9 preferred.
• Knowledge of Indonesian construction regulations and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Job description

To manage and oversee all civil construction activities at site to ensure works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, HSE requirements, and project schedule, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

a. Quality Control & Assurance

Oversee and ensure all civil construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and applicable standards.

Ensure proper implementation of quality control procedures and coordination with QA/QC team.

Review and verify inspection results, test reports, and quality documentation.

Ensure all civil works meet project quality requirements prior to handover.

Identify major quality risks and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions are implemented.

b. Coordination & Compliance

Lead and coordinate all civil construction activities at site including subcontractors and site teams.

Review construction plans, work methods, and resource allocation to ensure alignment with project schedule.

Monitor overall site progress and ensure timely completion of civil works.

Ensure compliance with HSE standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Liaise with client, consultants, and relevant stakeholders for inspections, approvals, and project coordination.

Authority and Limitations

The Civil Site Manager is authorized to manage and control all civil construction activities at site, allocate resources, direct subcontractors, and ensure compliance with project requirements; however, the role is not authorized to approve design changes, contractual variations, or major commercial decisions without approval from the Project Manager or relevant management.

Working Relationships

Internal: The Civil Site Manager works closely with the Project Manager, Engineering Team, QA/QC, HSE, Procurement, and other project teams to ensure effective execution and coordination of civil works.

External: The Civil Site Manager coordinates with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and client representatives to ensure civil construction activities are executed in accordance with project specifications and contractual requirements.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction projects. Comprising, plants of more than 2 MW. At least 1 (one) PV plant must be more than 10 MW.

Minimum 5 years of experience in site management or supervisory roles.

Experience in power plant, renewable energy, or large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred.

Certification

Possession of SKK Construction (Civil) is preferred.

Holds a valid Construction Services Development Board (LPJK) Competency Certificate (SKK Konstruksi), preferably Level 9.

Proven experience working on power plant or major infrastructure projects.

Knowledge of Indonesian construction regulations and standards.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, structural works, and site management.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.

Familiar with construction scheduling and project monitoring.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Good communication and coordination abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
