Job summary

PT WATSON ENGINEERING INDONESIA is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead on-site construction projects across Indonesia. The role focuses on achieving targets for timeline, cost, quality, and safety while directing master schedules, work plans, and resource needs.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with at least 10 years in construction, including 5 years in a PM role, and strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction, including at least 5 years leading project execution in the field in a Project Manager position or equivalent.
• Ability to read working drawings, BOQ, technical specifications, and project schedules.
• Experience developing work plans, controlling RAP, managing subcontractors, and resolving technical and operational issues in the field.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and coordination capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution and achieve target timeline, cost, quality, and work safety.
• Develop and implement project work plans, including master schedules, monthly and weekly plans, workforce requirements, materials, and equipment needs.
• Develop and control the Implementation Budget Plan (RAP), monitor cost realization, work progress, and potential additional or reduced work.
• Manage work execution based on drawings, technical specifications, work methods, and contract provisions, ensuring each work stage is inspected before proceeding to the next stage.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure field work runs according to plan.
• Serve as the main liaison at the project site with project owners, supervising consultants, and other relevant parties, addressing technical and operational issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the QHSE team to ensure implementation of work safety and environmental protection at the project site.
• Lead project coordination meetings, evaluate work obstacles, and report progress, costs, risks, and follow-up action plans to management.

About you
