Responsibilities

• Lead MRO category procurement and sales in Indonesia across general supplies, tools, PPE and chemicals.
• Engage with local and Chinese suppliers, formulate category supply solutions, drive revenue and gross margin.
• Research local market prices and channels, optimize cross-border and local sourcing to cut costs and improve margins.
• Manage supplier lifecycle: onboarding, performance assessments, payment terms, post-sale quality control.
• Produce reports on inventory, revenue and gross profit; coordinate with supply chain and warehousing teams.
• Collaborate with regional leaders to implement localized procurement strategies and grow Jakarta customer base.

Job description

• 1. Take charge of MRO category procurement and sales in Indonesia, covering general industrial supplies, hand & power tools, PPE and industrial chemicals. Oversee full-cycle work including supplier development, business negotiation, contract signing and inventory turnover management.
• 2. Engage with local and Chinese manufacturing factory clients, tap into MRO centralized procurement demands, formulate category supply solutions, and deliver targeted revenue and gross profit indicators.
• 3. Conduct in-depth research on local industrial product market prices and competitor channels in Indonesia, optimize the dual-source structure of cross-border and local procurement, reduce comprehensive procurement costs and improve category gross profit margins.
• 4. Implement full lifecycle supplier management, including supplier admission, performance assessment, payment term negotiation and after-sales quality control, to avoid supply and compliance risks.
• 5. Compile regular reports on category inventory, sales revenue and gross profit data, and collaborate with domestic supply chain and local warehousing & logistics teams to ensure stable product delivery.
• 6. Cooperate with regional leaders to implement localized procurement and sales strategies, and expand local industrial customer resources in Jakarta.

Job Requirements

• 1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Industrial Engineering or related fields is preferred.
• 2. Work Experience: 5-10 years of full-cycle MRO industrial product procurement and sales experience, with in-depth expertise in at least one category among general industrial supplies, tools, PPE and industrial chemicals. Prior experience in industrial product procurement and B2B sales in Southeast Asia or Indonesia is highly preferred.
• 3. Language: Fluent in both Chinese and business English, capable of conducting independent business negotiations with suppliers and clients in English.
• 4. Competencies: Familiar with local industrial product channels, import customs clearance and tax compliance rules in Indonesia. Proficient in supplier negotiation, cost accounting and inventory planning; capable of independently undertaking category performance targets.
