Job summary

Smorgas Restaurant is seeking a creative, high-energy bartender to craft signature cocktails and provide memorable guest experiences at our Bali location. You will design, prep, and serve a range of cocktails, mocktails, and classics with flair, while actively engaging guests and upselling premium beverages to maximize bar sales.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of hands-on experience in fast-paced venues, strong knowledge of recipes and flavor pairings, and proven ability to upsell.

Key responsibilities

Design, prep, and serve high-quality signature cocktails, mocktails, and classic drinks with speed, consistency, and presentation flair

Engage with guests, recommend menu pairings, promote daily specials, and naturally upsell premium spirits and signature beverages

Maintain strict cleanliness, stock control, recipe compliance, and inventory management at the station

Provide warm, attentive, and efficient service at the bar while handling cash and card transactions accurately

About you

Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience as a Bartender or Mixologist in a fast-paced restaurant, café, or lounge setting

Strong practical knowledge of classic recipes, modern flavor pairing, syrup/infusion preparation, and beverage presentation

Proven ability to proactively upsell, recommend signature offerings, and maximize revenue per guest

Friendly, dynamic personality with strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills

Ability to multitask, handle peak-hour high volumes cleanly, and maintain precision in pour measurements and inventory management
