Job summary

SATOSHI Bali is seeking a passionate Sommelier with strong wine knowledge to curate our wine program and lead the bar team. You will deliver engaging wine experiences, provide expert recommendations, and tailor pairings to guest preferences.

The role requires leadership, excellent guest interaction, and a proactive approach to staff development. Based in Bali, you will oversee daily operations, inventory control, and staff scheduling, ensuring top-tier service and memorable dining experiences

Qualifications

• Must currently be based in Bali.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Sommelier.
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal communication skills.
• Experience in upscale dining or five-star hospitality is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Curate and manage the wine selection with proper storage and inventory.
• Lead and support the bar team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Provide wine recommendations and food pairing tailored to guests.
• Engage with guests on the floor to create an engaging wine experience.
• Train and develop staff on wine knowledge and service techniques.
• Maintain high guest service standards and contribute to the dining experience.
• Prepare and manage staff schedules for adequate coverage.
• Oversee inventory checks, stock monitoring, and reporting.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to minimize wastage.
