Job summary

ofi Indonesia is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and product distribution to ensure smooth, efficient business flow at our Tangerang facility. You will lead the Warehouse Team, uphold safety and quality standards, coordinate with multiple stakeholders across regions, and ensure timely cocoa product deliveries with proper shipping documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in SCM, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations.
• Proficient in SAP SD/MM and MS Office.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across regions and functions.

• Collaborate with the Manager on operational improvements and projects.
• Ensure timely delivery of cocoa products and provide shipping/export documentation.

• Ensure equipment and facilities are well maintained and coordinate repairs.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and communicate shortages to stakeholders.
• Lead and develop the Warehouse Team with guidance and training.

Overview of the position

Assistant Warehouse Manager supports the effective management of warehouse operations, inventory control, and product distribution to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Safety, Food Safety, and Inventory Waste Management Ambassador, promoting compliance and continuous improvement in safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Manager on operational improvements, projects, and meetings, while acting as the Manager's delegate when required by handling calls, presentations, projects, and other assigned responsibilities.
• Ensure the timely delivery of cocoa products to customers and provide all required shipping and export documentation in accordance with customer requirements.
• Manage customer inquiries, communicate shipment schedules, and monitor shipment plans to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Maintain designated work areas in an organized, safe, and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with workplace standards at all times.
• Ensure all work areas, facilities, vehicles, tools, fixtures, and equipment remain in proper working condition, coordinating repairs or replacements as necessary.
• Ensure inventory accuracy by establishing and maintaining effective inventory control systems for raw materials and finished goods. Monitor inventory levels, keep records up to date, and proactively communicate any shortages to relevant stakeholders, including the Shipping Team for finished goods and the Production Team for raw materials.
• Lead and develop the Warehouse Team by providing guidance, coaching, training, and performance support to enhance team capability and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistic, Management International Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations (food manufacturing industry preferred).
• Proficient in SAP (SD/MM modules) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Highly detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Able to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders across regions and functions.
