Job summary

PT Petgo Bastian is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations for food and beverage products, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch. The role requires strong leadership, HACCP knowledge, inventory control and the ability to optimize layouts and processes, coordinating with procurement, sales and logistics to ensure efficiency.

• 3+ years of warehouse management experience in food and beverage or FMCG
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP principles
• Excellent inventory management and stock control with WMS proficiency
• Ability to optimise layouts, streamline processes and implement improvements
• Strong leadership and people management with recruitment and training experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse software
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Strong communication and cross-department collaboration skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and warehouse compliance
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment
• Preferred: export/import procedures and regulatory knowledge in Indonesia

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of food and beverage products
• Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, performance management and team development
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards and all relevant health and safety legislation
• Optimise warehouse layouts, storage systems and inventory management procedures to maximise efficiency and minimise costs
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock audits and reconciliations
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure product integrity and prevent contamination
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures and best practices for warehouse operations
• Manage warehouse budgets, control costs and identify opportunities for operational improvements
• Liaise with procurement, sales and logistics teams to ensure seamless coordination of warehouse activities
• Maintain detailed records, reports and documentation of warehouse operations and performance metrics
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and safely operated by warehouse personnel
• Respond to and resolve operational issues, customer complaints and supply chain disruptions promptly

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 of warehouse management experience in the food and beverage or fast-moving consumer goods sector
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP principles and relevant food handling regulations
• Excellent inventory management and stock control expertise with proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Demonstrated ability to optimise warehouse layouts, streamline processes and implement operational improvements
• Strong leadership and people management skills with experience in recruitment, training and staff development
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management software
• Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across departments
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and warehouse compliance requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
• Preferred: Experience with logistics coordination, export/import procedures and regulatory compliance in the Indonesian market
