Job summary

MR.D.I.Y. Indonesia is seeking a Senior Warehouse Development Specialist to optimize and lead warehouse operations in Bekasi. You will drive process improvements, supervise WMS/ERP initiatives, and build SOPs and KPIs for data-driven decisions.

With 6+ years in logistics and continuous improvement, you will guide cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and implement cost-saving strategies while communicating with senior management. This role is based in Marunda, Bekasi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, accounting, management, logistics, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years in warehouse operations/logistics with 3 years in development/project roles.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and layout optimization.
• Hands-on experience with WMS/ERP and warehouse automation technologies.
• Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining SOPs and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve warehouse processes to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, accuracy, and service quality.
• Support the implementation and optimization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, automation technologies, and inventory management solutions.
• Coordinate warehouse development projects, including warehouse layout redesign, process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and new technology implementation.
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful and timely execution.
• Manage and improve inventory control processes, including inventory accuracy, stock movement, storage optimization, and order fulfillment.
• Develop, monitor, and analyze warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports to support data‑driven decision‑making.
• Identify and implement Continuous Improvement initiatives using Lean Warehouse, 5S, Kaizen, and other improvement methodologies.
• Assist in planning and monitoring warehouse development project budgets while identifying cost‑saving and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and operational documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Accounting, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in Warehouse Operations/Logistics/Supply Chain/Continuous Improvement/Internal Audit/Warehouse Development/Project Management.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, warehouse layout, storage optimization, and warehouse process improvement.
• Proven experience in warehouse development projects, including process optimization, layout redesign, warehouse expansion, or operational improvement initiatives.
• Hands‑on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, inventory control systems, or warehouse automation technologies.
• Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational work instructions.
• Solid knowledge of Lean Warehouse, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), PDCA, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify operational issues, evaluate data, and recommend effective solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, Power Pivot, dashboards, data analysis, and reporting. Proficient in Google Sheets, including advanced functions such as IMPORTRANGE, QUERY, ARRAYFORMULA, and data visualization.
• Experience in creating management reports, business presentations, and performance dashboards.
• Familiarity with warehouse performance metrics (KPIs), including productivity, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, warehouse utilization, and operational efficiency.
• Basic understanding of project management principles, with experience coordinating cross‑functional projects and ensuring timely implementation.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and cost optimization initiatives within warehouse operations is preferred.
• Excellent communication, coordination, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and quickly adapt to new business processes and technologies.
• Experience communicating and presenting to senior management is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools is an advantage.
