Job summary

MR.DIY Indonesia is seeking an experienced Warehouse Development Lead to improve processes, manage WMS/ERP integrations, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain. You will oversee layout redesigns, automation initiatives, and inventory controls in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 6+ years in warehouse/logistics or CI, strong cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, management, logistics, or related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in Warehouse Operations/ Logistics/ Continuous Improvement/ Project Management.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, layout, storage optimization, and process improvement.
• Experience in warehouse development projects, including process optimization, layout redesign, expansion, or improvement initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with WMS/ERP systems and automation technologies.
• Experience developing and maintaining SOPs and work instructions.
• Knowledge of Lean Warehouse, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, RCA, PDCA, and CI methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve warehouse processes to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, accuracy, and service quality.
• Support the implementation and optimization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, automation technologies, and inventory management solutions.
• Coordinate warehouse development projects, including warehouse layout redesign, process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and new technology implementation.
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful and timely execution.
• Manage and improve inventory control processes, including inventory accuracy, stock movement, storage optimization, and order fulfillment.
• Develop, monitor, and analyze warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports to support data-driven decision-making.
• Identify and implement Continuous Improvement initiatives using Lean Warehouse, 5S, Kaizen, and other improvement methodologies.
• Assist in planning and monitoring warehouse development project budgets while identifying cost‑saving and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and operational documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, Procurement, and Finance, to support warehouse development initiatives.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and project updates for management and key stakeholders.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Accounting, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in Warehouse Operations/ Logistics/ Supply Chain/ Continuous Improvement/ Internal Audit/ Warehouse Development/ Project Management.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, warehouse layout, storage optimization, and warehouse process improvement.
• Proven experience in warehouse development projects, including process optimization, layout redesign, warehouse expansion, or operational improvement initiatives.
• Hands‑on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, inventory control systems, or warehouse automation technologies.
• Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational work instructions.
• Solid knowledge of Lean Warehouse, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), PDCA, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify operational issues, evaluate data, and recommend effective solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, Power Pivot, dashboards, data analysis, and reporting. Proficient in Google Sheets, including advanced functions such as IMPORTRANGE, QUERY, ARRAYFORMULA, and data visualization.
• Experience in creating management reports, business presentations, and performance dashboards.
• Familiarity with warehouse performance metrics (KPIs), including productivity, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, warehouse utilization, and operational efficiency.
• Basic understanding of project management principles, with experience coordinating cross‑functional projects and ensuring timely implementation.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and cost optimization initiatives within warehouse operations is preferred.
• Excellent communication, coordination, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and quickly adapt to new business processes and technologies.
• Experience communicating and presenting to senior management is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools is an advantage.
• Willing to be based in Marunda, Bekasi.
